Arrowfield Graduate Doubtland Scores For Orbis

Doubtland as a yearlingNot A Single Doubt’s tremendous season continued on Day 1 of The Championships when his 71st stakeswinner Doubtland raced away with the $200,000 ATC Kindergarten S. 1100m G3.

Godolphin colt Jerle was 2nd and another Group-winning Not A Single Doubt colt, Not An Option was third.

KINGS LEGACYA Group 1 quinella by a pair of outstanding Redoute’s Choice 2YO colts headed the three Arrowfield-sired Group wins on Day 1 of Australian racing’s 2020 Grand Finals, The Championships at Royal Randwick.

King’s Legacy & Prague in the $500,000 ATC Inglis Sires’ 1400m G1 gave Arrowfield’s late, great Champion Sire his fifth Group 1 quinella and his third in a juvenile feature, after Stratum & Fashions Afield in the 2005 Golden Slipper, and Nadeem & Miss Finland in the 2006 Blue Diamond. $1.8 Million for First Foal of First Seal

Snitzel-firstseal-2020Champion sire Snitzel weighed in with his first seven figure lot at Inglis Easter online when a handsome bay colt from Group I winner First Seal fetched $1.8million to the bid of Tom Magnier.

Consigned by Sledmere Stud, the colt was bred by China Horse Club, who raced his dam with much success with co-owners the late Dato Tan Chin Nam's Think Big Stud and partners.

The daughter of Fastnet Rock was bought as a yearling for $700,000 at Karaka and was given time to mature by John Thompson, starting just once at two for a fourth placing.

G1 Galaxy Winner for Snitzel

i am excited-galaxyArrowfield Stud based sires enjoyed great success on Saturday at Rosehill with Group I success for Not a Single Doubt (Farnan), Dundeel (Castelvecchio) and also Snitzel, who chimed in late when his speedy daughter I Am Excited claimed her first win at the elite level in the Group I ATC The Galaxy (1100m).

She hit the line hard late under Tim Clark to claim a narrow win over I Am Invincible mare Miss Leonidas with Tofane (Ocean Park) a close third to give mares the trifecta in this Group I sprint.
